Your on cloud shoes deserve proper care to stay looking their best. Follow these steps to clean them safely without causing damage.

What You'll Need

  • Soap-Man Power Wash Laundry Detergent
  • Cold water
  • Soft brush
  • Microfiber cloth
  • Paper towels

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1

    Remove insoles and laces

Take out the insoles and laces. Hand wash laces with detergent. Set insoles aside for separate cleaning.

  2. 2

    Knock off loose dirt

Tap the soles together to dislodge dirt from the CloudTec pods. Use a soft dry brush to remove remaining debris.

  3. 3

    Hand wash the uppers

Mix a small amount of Power Wash Laundry Detergent in cold water. Dip a soft brush and gently scrub the uppers, working the knit material.

  4. 4

    Clean the soles

Use a slightly stiffer brush on the soles and CloudTec pods to remove packed mud and pebbles. Clean each pod individually.

  5. 5

    Rinse and air dry

Wipe with a damp cloth to remove soap. Stuff with paper towels and air dry at room temperature. Never machine dry.

Pro Tips

  • TIPOn recommends hand washing only -- machine washing voids the warranty on most models.
  • TIPClean CloudTec pods regularly -- pebbles and debris trapped in the pods affect the cushioning response.
  • TIPUse a toothpick to clear mud from inside the hollow CloudTec pods where a brush can't reach.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • XMachine washing On Cloud shoes, which damages the engineered knit upper and degrades the CloudTec cushioning system.
  • XUsing hot water, which warps the Speedboard plate and weakens the glue bonding the sole to the upper.
  • XLeaving mud to dry in the CloudTec pods, which hardens and changes the shoe's cushioning feel.
