Your white sneakers deserve proper care to stay looking their best. Follow these steps to clean them safely without causing damage.
Take out the laces and soak them separately in soapy water. Knock the soles together to remove loose dirt and debris.
Mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda with 1 tablespoon of dish soap and 1 tablespoon of water. Stir into a thick paste.
Apply the paste with an old toothbrush and scrub in small circular motions over the entire upper. Focus on stained or yellowed areas.
Use a magic eraser on the rubber soles and midsoles. This removes scuffs and ground-in dirt that brushing misses.
Wipe off the paste with a damp microfiber cloth. Stuff with white paper towels and air dry in indirect sunlight. A little sun helps whiten, but too much yellows adhesive.
